Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use the Aitum Vertical plugin for OBS, set it up with the OBS Virtual Camera, and stream to TikTok Live Studio.
🔧 PART 1: Setting Up Aitum Vertical in OBS
1. Download & Install Aitum Vertical
Go to https://www.aitum.tv/vertical and download the Aitum Vertical plugin.
Install the plugin and restart OBS if prompted.
2. Enable Aitum Vertical Panel
Open OBS Studio.
Go to the top menu bar:
View → Docks → Aitum Vertical
The Aitum Vertical panel will appear, typically docked on the right side.
3. Create a Vertical Scene
In the Aitum Vertical panel, click “+” to create a new Vertical Scene (9:16 aspect ratio).
Name the scene (e.g., “TikTok Live”) and hit Create.
4. Add Sources
Add camera, overlays, gameplay or screen share as needed.
Aitum Vertical allows you to reuse existing 16:9 sources and customize layout for vertical output.
Adjust positions for vertical framing.

5. Start OBS Virtual Camera
In the OBS main toolbar, click Start Virtual Camera.
